Tacoma homeowner hit by rocks attack

Seattle, WALocal News

The Anderson family in Tacoma faced a series of alarming incidents when rocks were thrown through their home’s windows, leaving them feeling vulnerable and violated. Early Tuesday morning, they were jolted awake by the sound of glass shattering as a rock smashed through their bedroom window. Just hours later, a second rock attack shattered their living room window. Dave Anderson described the shocking experience to KIRO 7, sharing his disbelief that someone would target their home. The situation escalated when a third rock was thrown later that day, narrowly missing their dog's crate, which heightened the family's anxiety.

Surveillance footage captured the suspect in action, and local police are now on the lookout for any leads. The Andersons reported significant damage amounting to thousands of dollars. Amid the chaos, their 13-year-old son Gareth expressed fears about being in harm's way, while Sadie Mitchell-Anderson voiced the emotional toll of feeling unsafe in a place they had worked hard to make their home.
