Former Seattle Mariners pitcher Yusei Kikuchi has signed a three-year, $63 million contract with the Los Angeles Angels, marking a significant transition in his career within the AL West. This deal, contingent upon passing a physical, was first reported by the New York Post. Over nine seasons, Kikuchi has earned $142 million, reflecting his value in Major League Baseball. In the 2024 season, he recorded a 9-10 record with a 4. 05 ERA in 32 starts, contributing to both the Toronto Blue Jays and Houston Astros.

Notably, he had a strong performance with the Astros, achieving a 5-1 record and a 2. 70 ERA in 10 starts.
