Joseph Manuel Martinez, 44, died from acute drug intoxication after an incident near Freeway Park last Saturday night, with his death ruled an accident. The King County Medical Examiner confirmed that he suffered fatal injuries related to methamphetamine use. Martinez was found by passersby near Pike and Hubbell Place around 6:30 PM, which led to a 911 call reporting an injured man. Police stated that he had sustained head trauma and was deceased before officers arrived. The Crime Scene Investigation Unit processed the scene and collected evidence.
