Police search after shots fired in 21st Ave E incident involving Amazon delivery truck

Seattle, WALocal News

Police are investigating a shooting incident that involved an Amazon delivery truck on 21st Ave E late Friday afternoon. Gunfire erupted shortly after 4 PM, prompting a response from law enforcement, who discovered at least two shell casings near the delivery vehicle. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in this incident. Authorities are on the lookout for a possible older model gold Honda that was seen leaving the area shortly after the shooting. The Seattle Police Department's Real-Time Crime Center supported the investigation but reported no available live camera views in the vicinity.

This incident follows another shooting in September, just a few blocks away, where an Amazon driver fired shots that damaged property but also resulted in no injuries. The recent uptick in gunfire incidents raises concerns about public safety in the area. Local residents and stakeholders are urged to remain vigilant as police continue their search for the suspect vehicle.
