Late night Insomnia Cookies monsters are now roaming Capitol Hill

Seattle, WALocal News

A new Insomnia Cookies store has opened at 1513 Broadway in Capitol Hill, catering to students from Seattle University and late-night patrons. The shop operates until 3 AM on weekends and 1 AM on weekdays, reflecting the area’s nightlife resurgence following the pandemic. It is part of Pride Place, an affordable, LGBTQIA-friendly senior community development, joining local businesses like Spice Bliss, which is relocating nearby. Insomnia has built its reputation on delivering hot cookies late at night, often near major universities. However, while some businesses like Voodoo Doughnuts have reduced their weekday hours, Insomnia maintains a strong late-night presence.

The Capitol Hill location aims to meet the growing demand for late-night dining options in the neighborhood. As local restaurants and cafes extend their hours, Insomnia’s opening represents a strategic move to capitalize on this trend. The shop's late hours are particularly appealing to both students and nightlife enthusiasts.
