The establishment, founded by Michael Klebeck, offers a selection of unique items, including bomba doughnut holes and pineapple fritters, alongside specialty coffee. Located at 516 E Pike, the shop aims to elevate the local doughnut scene, challenging established competitors like Top Pot, Mighty-O, and Raised Doughnuts.

Customers can expect a bustling atmosphere, especially on busy mornings. The fall menu includes flavors such as vanilla, chocolate, and chai tea, with breakfast options like scones and sous vide eggs. Klebeck previously built Top Pot, which started in February 2002, and aims to bring a similar spirit to Half and Half. The shop emphasizes craft coffee with hand-pulled espresso machines.
