After a decade in Madison Valley, Bar Cantinetta has moved up to Capitol Hill

Bar Cantinetta has officially opened its doors on Capitol Hill after closing its previous Madison Valley location in 2023. The bar, known for its commitment to Tuscan culinary traditions, features a diverse menu that includes handmade pastas and dishes made from seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. Owner Trevor Greenwood, who has extensive experience in the Central Seattle food scene, has revitalized the space at 555 15th Ave E, enhancing the Italian dining options in the neighborhood. The corner previously housed the Hilltop Service Station, marking a significant transformation in the area. Alongside Bar Cantinetta, Capitol Hill is seeing a mix of temporary tenants and long-term investments, including plans for new food and drink establishments.
