Uncle Doms Italian Kitchen and Bar Tango Two servings of Capitol Hill nostalgia coming to Pine and Summit

Seattle, WALocal News

Pike Street Hospitality Group will launch Uncle Dom’s Italian Kitchen and Bar Tango in Capitol Hill, reviving the nostalgia of the neighborhood's historic dining spots. Uncle Dom's will serve Italian classics while honoring influential local figures, including Uncle Mike and Uncle Dom, with a menu featuring chicken parm, lasagna, and meatballs. Michael Crossley, formerly of Vito’s, will run the kitchen at Uncle Dom’s, which opens in early October. Bar Tango will focus on tapas and cocktails, aiming to recreate the ambiance of its predecessor, Tango, which closed in 2019. The design will include a horseshoe-shaped bar suitable for late-night gatherings.

Rosenthal highlighted the importance of these projects in maintaining the cultural fabric of Capitol Hill. The opening follows a series of successful ventures by the group, including the recent launch of Double O’ Burgers. Both venues will be located at 422 E Pine, marking a significant addition to the local dining scene.
