911 Broadway ATM robbery, gas station hold-ups, and a PikePine drug werewolf

Seattle, WALocal News

On Saturday evening, a customer at the Broadway Chase bank was robbed at gunpoint, with the suspect demanding money after using the ATM. Just minutes later, a gas station employee at the Broadway Shell reported a hold-up where the suspect brandished a revolver but failed to steal from the register. In a separate early morning incident, two suspects robbed a man of a gold chain at gunpoint near a Chevron gas station. Police later responded to an assault near Pike/Pine involving a suspect who claimed to have no memory of the event due to drug intoxication and believed he was becoming a werewolf. The suspect was arrested after assaulting an officer during the chase.

No arrests were reported in the bank or gas station incidents despite police searches. Additionally, a fire ignited by a suspect at 23rd and Cherry was extinguished without spreading, and the suspect was arrested. These events highlight ongoing concerns about crime and safety in the Capitol Hill neighborhood.
