911 Man stabbed near Broadway and John

A 31-year-old man was stabbed near Broadway and John early Monday, prompting a police search for a suspect described as a white male in his 50s with grey curly hair. The victim was transported to Harborview in stable condition following the incident. In another case, police investigated an attempted carjacking on Broadway where two teens, armed with firearms, attempted to steal a victim's car but fled when the victim misled them about the car keys. Furthermore, a resident at St. Francis House on 12th Ave was severely beaten with a baseball bat by a suspect upset over a stolen bike, leading to an ongoing search for the assailant.

Officers also responded to a large brawl on Broadway, resulting in one arrest and minor injuries to three officers. The various incidents underscore heightened safety concerns in Capitol Hill, particularly with the recent string of violent actions. Local authorities continue to monitor the situation, aiming to restore safety and address community worries. The police department urges residents to report suspicious activities immediately.
