On August 13, the Arboretum will feature a free concert by Ben Hunter & The Intraterrestrials, focusing on folk music rooted in the Black diaspora. Art enthusiasts can partake in the Capitol Hill Art Walk on Thursday, which showcases local artists in the Chophouse Row courtyard. Additionally, the Dancing Til Dusk event will provide free dancing lessons and live music at Cal Anderson Park on the same evening.
Friday offers a film screening of "Indiana Jones – Raiders of the Lost Ark" at Freeway Park, while a performance of "Midsummer Night’s Dream" will be presented in Pratt Park. These events not only entertain but also strengthen community ties and support local artists. Capitol Hill continues to be a hub of cultural activity, inviting participation from all ages.
