Seattle, WALocal News

Capitol Hill’s Christmas Dive Bar welcomed patrons back for its second season, transforming the space into a holiday wonderland. The owners, Joey Burgess and Murf Hall, designed the pop-up bar to be a sensory explosion of Christmas spirit, featuring a menu of seasonal cocktails and nostalgic snacks. Guests will find a mix of vintage décor, including chandeliers adorned with ornaments and a photo wall. The bar invites visitors to partake in themed events such as ugly sweater parties and an Après-ski celebration. This year's expansion includes a third-floor Christmas Lodge, which is designed for group gatherings and festive nostalgia.

The seasonal menu features Ho Ho Hot cocoa and Gingerbread Old Fashioneds, alongside holiday snacks like Mom’s Meatballs. The Christmas Dive Bar operates daily from 5 PM to late through the New Year, providing a unique holiday experience for the community. Burgess encourages everyone to join in the holiday cheer and partake in the “raucous reindeer games.
