Pho for us? Pho 4 U is back at the base of Capitol Hill

Seattle, WALocal News

Pho 4 U has reopened at 1202 Pine in Capitol Hill after being forced to relocate due to real estate changes in the neighborhood. The previous location was purchased by Prado Group for $5 million, displacing several businesses, including Machiavelli and Lan Hand-Pulled Noodles. Owner Nick Lee clarified that the move was purely business-related, explaining, "Our lease at the location had ended and we did not have an extension. " The new space, which was previously occupied by a sushi joint, was quickly adapted for Pho 4 U's needs. This reopening is significant as Pho 4 U has deep roots in the local pho community, tracing back to Pike/Pine’s Pho Le.

The restaurant aims to resume serving its loyal customer base in the bustling Capitol Hill area. With the neighborhood's evolving landscape, Pho 4 U's return highlights the challenges faced by small businesses amid gentrification. The restaurant is prepared to reestablish itself in a competitive market.
