Foreign National, Tavolata Capitol Hill ready to join E Pike fooddrink

Seattle, WALocal News

Foreign National and Tavolata are set to enhance Capitol Hill's dining landscape in Seattle. Foreign National, a bar with only 28 seats, is preparing for its official opening next week amidst growing buzz. Eric Johnson noted the unexpected interest in their venue and the challenges of standing out in a competitive market. Tavolata's second location, opening Monday, features a spacious 2,600-square-foot layout with a modern Italian menu, focusing on fresh pasta and seasonal ingredients. The restaurant includes a communal table and plans for outdoor seating to accommodate 25 guests.

Both openings reflect the area’s culinary growth and the innovative spirit of local restaurateurs. Johnson believes that Foreign National will help sustain interest in Stateside, which has already garnered acclaim. The evolving food scene on Capitol Hill underscores the dynamic nature of Seattle's restaurant industry.
