Post Options building damaged in fire at 12th and Pike

A fire damaged the Post Options building near the Unicorn bar in Capitol Hill on Wednesday night. Seattle Fire Department received reports of smoke at the corner of 12th and Pike just before 8:30 PM. Fire crews quickly brought the blaze under control within approximately 30 minutes. During their response, they discovered a suspicious device, which prompted an initial evacuation of the area. After thorough investigation, SFD confirmed that the device was not a danger, allowing them to re-enter the building to complete their response.

The Unicorn bar was evacuated, and streets were blocked to traffic during the emergency. The Post Options serves many local businesses, providing crucial services and post office box addresses. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries during the incident.
