Mintish, a Levantine-inspired Coffee House with Seattle vibes, coming to Capitol Hill

Seattle, WALocal News

Mintish, a Levantine-inspired coffee house, will soon open its doors at 515 Harvard Ave E, replacing the former Bauhaus location. The cafe, set to debut in late August, will offer coffee, teas, and food, all within a friendly and inviting environment. Nano, the owner, emphasized their aim to blend Levantine roots with Seattle vibes. Bauhaus, which operated from 1993 until its closure, was well-known for its strong coffee and extensive hours. The cafe became a victim of real estate development trends that displaced many local businesses on E Pine at Melrose.

Despite several attempts to revive the Bauhaus brand, the space remained vacant until Mintish announced its plans. The opening of Mintish signifies a new chapter for the area, potentially attracting both longtime residents and newcomers alike. Community members are encouraged to follow their social media for updates on the grand opening.
