Volunteer Park launches its Summer Series on Thursday, July 10, featuring a concert with The Paperboys and the Stacy Jones Band from 6:00 to 8:30 PM. The event includes a Picnic in the Park, with food trucks and free ice cream, catering to families and community members. The July Capitol Hill Art Walk will also occur, showcasing local artists and featuring activities in the Chophouse Row courtyard. On Friday, the new women's sports bar "Pitch the Baby" opens its doors, creating a welcoming space for fans of women's sports. Additionally, the Gullet Stuffer VII competition on Saturday invites brave participants to eat gyoza in support of Seattle Community Fridge.

This year marks the 7th annual Gullet Stuffer, emphasizing community engagement. The Queer & Trans Film Festival 2025, running July 10-12, celebrates 30 years of queer cinema, showcasing local voices and iconic films. These events collectively enhance community spirit and cultural engagement in Capitol Hill this summer.
