2 sailors rescued from Puget Sound near Edmonds, WA

Over the weekend, a man and woman were rescued from Puget Sound after falling overboard from their sailboat near Edmonds, Washington. The Kitsap County Sheriff's Office quickly responded, retrieving the pair from the water around 11:30 a. m. on March 8. They were then taken to Edmonds Marina, where South County Fire transported them to Swedish Edmonds Hospital for medical treatment.

One individual was reported to be in serious condition, while the other suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The incident serves as a crucial reminder of the importance of wearing life jackets, as both individuals were equipped with them at the time of the rescue.
