In a heartwarming turn of events, Olga and Doug Borland of SeaTac, Washington, were reunited with a significant portion of their stolen property, including rare mammoth tusks and intricately painted Russian nesting dolls. Their U-Haul, stolen from a hotel parking lot, contained items valued at approximately $150,000, critical to their business, the Russian American Company, which imports unique global gifts. Following coverage by FOX 13 News, a viewer provided a tip that led to a police investigation, resulting in the recovery of over two-thirds of the stolen items from 68 boxes. Olga expressed immense gratitude to Detective Riley Myklebust, who described the recovery as the 'fun part' of their job. Currently, no arrests have been made, but the sheriff's office is working on identifying suspects already wanted for other crimes.
