Delta announces new European direct flights out of Seattle
Delta Air Lines is strengthening its foothold at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport with the opening of two new lounges: the Delta One Lounge and Delta Sky Club. These enhancements include priority access to 18 gates across Concourses A and B, which will streamline operations for travelers. Glen Hauenstein, President of Delta Air Lines, stated that these upgrades reinforce Delta's role as Seattle's largest global carrier. Alongside the new lounges, Delta will begin daily non-stop flights to Barcelona and Rome by May 2026. This expansion reflects the airline's commitment to improving customer experience and increasing international travel options.
The new lounges will provide travelers with enhanced comfort and amenities. These upgrades are particularly significant for Seattle residents who frequently travel abroad. Delta's investments in Seattle aim to create a more seamless travel experience from check-in to takeoff.
