The facility, located at 1044 Howard Street, includes 3,200 square feet for various programs and special events, including the SoMa Youth Collaborative Summer Program. Funding for the center came from city, state, and federal sources, ensuring it meets community needs.

The project included renovations and the construction of an outdoor rooftop basketball court, with strong support from local leaders. Assemblymember Matt Haney highlighted the center's significant impact on the downtown community, while Supervisor Matt Dorsey praised it as a lasting investment. This initiative builds on the mayor's commitment to support legal services and strengthen community organizations.
