A protest outside the ICE field office in San Francisco turned violent Sunday night, resulting in 60 arrests and injuries to three officers. The event attracted around 400 participants, who demonstrated in solidarity with Los Angeles protesters opposing ICE arrests. Police declared an unlawful assembly after some demonstrators vandalized a Muni bus and a Chase Bank window. Mayor Daniel Lurie emphasized the need for peaceful protest while condemning violent actions against law enforcement. Jesse McKinnon, a protester, expressed the importance of showing up for justice, highlighting the diverse backgrounds of those opposing the Trump administration's policies.

The protest reflects ongoing tensions surrounding immigration enforcement in California. A total of three officers sustained injuries, with one requiring hospitalization. Another protest rally is set for Monday at 6 pm at 24th and Mission streets, indicating the continuation of activism in the area.
