Muni Metro service between the Embarcadero and Van Ness stations was restored Wednesday afternoon after an equipment malfunction disrupted operations. The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency reported the initial issue at 12:30 p. m. , leading to the closure of stations from Embarcadero to Montgomery. Maintenance crews worked diligently to address the overhead equipment problem, while bus shuttles were utilized to transport passengers during the service disruption.

By 3:20 p. m. , repairs were completed, and a train was dispatched to test the line's functionality. Regular service was successfully resumed at 3:34 p. m.
