Man Stabbed, Possibly By Angry Ex, at UC Berkeley Overlook Parking Lot

San Francisco, CALocal News

A young man sustained multiple stab wounds late Saturday night in a parking lot at Lawrence Hall of Science on the UC Berkeley campus. The incident occurred around 11:50 PM while the victim was with his girlfriend in his car. Authorities believe a disgruntled ex-partner of the victim might be involved, as robbery does not appear to be the motive. The victim was stabbed more than a dozen times, leading investigators to treat the case as a potential crime of passion. Police discovered a blood trail at the scene, indicating the severity of the attack.

The girlfriend's behavior has raised eyebrows, as she has been labeled "uncooperative" in initial reports. UC police are actively searching for the three suspects who approached the couple. This incident highlights ongoing concerns about safety in campus areas, even those not directly affiliated with university activities.
