San Francisco Decorator Showcase puts Pacific Heights mansion through incredible transformation

San Francisco, CALocal News

The 46th annual San Francisco Decorator Showcase opens Saturday, showcasing a Pacific Heights mansion that underwent a remarkable transformation. Executive Director Stephanie Yee noted that 90 to 100 subcontractors worked daily for three months to complete the project. The mansion features 9,400 square feet, including eight bedrooms and seven full bathrooms, providing ample space for creative designs. Designers custom-make nearly every piece, ensuring that each room reflects a unique vision. The showcase sources art and items globally, enhancing the mansion's aesthetic.

Over the years, the event has raised more than $19 million for San Francisco University High School, underscoring its significance to the local community. The showcase runs through May 26, with tickets available for purchase both online and at the venue. This annual event highlights the intersection of art and design, attracting attention from both local residents and visitors.
