San Francisco, CALocal News

A devastating SUV crash on Friday night in Marin County killed four teenage girls and left two others with serious injuries. The girls, aged 14 to 16, were students at Archie Williams High School. A Volkswagen SUV collided with their vehicle, causing it to crash into a tree and burst into flames. Surviving the crash are 16-year-old Elsa Laremont Stranczek and 14-year-old Marley Barclay, whose parents have addressed the public to clarify facts surrounding the incident. They emphasized that the girls were wearing seatbelts and that alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

The parents also expressed deep appreciation for the Good Samaritans who intervened, particularly the woman who saved Marley from the burning vehicle. Fundraising initiatives have emerged to support the families of the deceased girls—Sienna Katz, Ada Kepley, Josalynn Osborn, and Olive Koren—as well as for Marley Barclay. The community is rallying together in response to this tragic event.
