Noyo Harbors Wharf restaurant gets a new lease on life - Local News Matters

San Francisco, CALocal News

The Beachcomber Hotel Group has officially taken ownership of the Wharf Restaurant in Noyo Harbor, the establishment’s fourth ownership in over 70 years. Siblings Robert “Bob” Hunt and Pamela Amante, who also own several motels in Fort Bragg, plan to revitalize the restaurant and enhance its community ties. Previous owner James C. “Jim” Hurst expressed that the Wharf struggled to recover fully from the pandemic and needed significant improvements. He highlighted the Hunts as perfect buyers, given their local investment and hospitality experience.

The Wharf's multi-level design, offering both expansive views and intimate settings, provides the new owners with opportunities for innovative dining experiences. Hurst, who has deep local roots, emphasized the importance of keeping the restaurant under local ownership. This acquisition not only marks a significant change for the Wharf but also reflects ongoing developments in the Fort Bragg hospitality landscape. The transition is expected to bring fresh energy and new possibilities to this iconic waterfront location.
