However, the victims drove themselves to a location on Cesar Chavez Street, where they were discovered suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The woman succumbed to her injuries, while the man is in stable condition following treatment. This shooting is particularly notable as it marks the city's 15th homicide of the year, a sharp decline compared to 22 homicides reported at the same time last year.
