Former Mt. Diablo schools trustee appointed to fill vacancy Lawrence last served 2012-20

Brian Lawrence has been appointed to the Mt. Diablo Unified School District Board of Education, representing Trustee Area 4, which includes parts of Concord, Walnut Creek, and Clayton. The provisional swearing-in occurred on August 4, conducted by Superintendent Adam Clark. Lawrence replaces Cherise Khaund, who stepped down in June to join the Walnut Creek Planning Commission.
