Mondays Early Morning Outer Sunset Raid Linked to Oregon Stolen iPhone Ring

San Francisco, CALocal News

Early Monday morning, SFPD raided a suspected illegal nightclub on Noriega Street, uncovering multiple firearms and narcotics. Among those arrested was Cankun He, a 31-year-old wanted by the FBI for orchestrating armed robberies of iPhone shipments in Oregon. The raid took place at 2543 Noriega Street, a location previously occupied by a Chinese restaurant. According to KTVU, He was transferred into federal custody following the raid. His indictment details a scheme involving armed co-conspirators who executed robberies while brandishing firearms and impersonating law enforcement.

The investigation raises questions about whether He was specifically targeted during the raid. He did not participate directly in the robberies but allegedly planned and funded them. He is set for arraignment in a San Francisco federal courthouse.
