The Stockton Police Department is implementing various strategies to combat theft, including Business Watch and a "See Something, Say Something" initiative. Homicides have also seen a noteworthy drop of 36. 7%, contributing to a more positive overall trend in violent crime. However, aggravated assaults decreased only slightly, while rapes experienced an 18.

4% rise. Additionally, arson cases have surged by 12. 7%, raising concerns among local officials. These mixed results underscore the ongoing challenges facing law enforcement in Stockton as they work to enhance community safety.
