Sean Collins, 29, faces murder charges for the stabbing death of Colden Kimber, 28, on a Muni platform in San Francisco's Ingleside District. The incident occurred Saturday afternoon near City College when Kimber intervened as Collins harassed women waiting for the train. Witnesses reported that Collins stabbed Kimber in the neck without any verbal exchange between the two men. Kimber's girlfriend attempted to provide first aid, but he was pronounced dead shortly after reaching the hospital. Collins fled the scene but was later apprehended, with police recovering a bloody sweater and the murder weapon along his escape route.

The District Attorney's office revealed that Collins also faces charges of child endangerment, as two children witnessed the attack. Collins remains in custody and is scheduled for arraignment. This tragic event has raised concerns about safety on public transportation.
