Gang of Deplorable Teen Girls Implicated In Multiple Attacks on SF Streets, Two Detained

San Francisco, CALocal News

In Rincon Hill, two teenage girls were detained after allegedly assaulting two other girls, marking one of several unprovoked attacks in San Francisco. Witnesses described the assailants pulling the victims to the ground and physically assaulting them outside a tea shop. The SFPD has been investigating at least five similar incidents involving juveniles since July, indicating a troubling pattern of violence. The two detained girls, aged 13 and 14, received citations for assault likely to produce great bodily injury and were released to their parents. An 11-year-old girl was also involved but was only admonished.

The police have not disclosed details about the other four attacks, which may be related. This situation recalls the Rainbow Crew incidents from a decade ago, where young people committed violent acts without robbery motives. The ongoing investigation highlights the need for community awareness and intervention in youth violence.
