Cynthia Papermaster from Code Pink stressed, "We just want peace. We want diplomacy," reflecting a widespread sentiment among local activists. Ardavan Amini from Bay Area 4 Iran pointed out the uncertainties surrounding the airstrikes, particularly regarding the safety of innocent civilians living near the nuclear sites. The Bay Area Jewish community is also grappling with the potential fallout, as Tyler Gregory, CEO of the Jewish Community Relations Council, expressed concerns for both Israeli and Iranian civilians caught in the conflict.

Additionally, he mentioned the heightened security environment in the Bay Area as a direct consequence of the military actions. Community leaders called for immediate negotiations to prevent further violence and loss of life. Historically, U. S. actions in the region have led to increased tensions and instability.
