A spirited celebration Taste Mendocino pairs wine, gourmet food tastings this Saturday

The Taste Mendocino event is set for June 28 from 1 to 4 p. m. at the Wyndham Garden Inn in Redwood Valley. Organized by Mendocino Winegrowers alongside Visit Mendocino and the Blue Zones Project, it features 20 wineries and distilleries, such as Bonterra Organic Estates and Frey Vineyards. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample wines and spirits, including offerings from Schnaubelt and Boonville Distilleries.

In addition to beverages, local chefs will present a range of sweet and savory dishes to complement the tastings. General admission tickets are priced at $95, while designated driver tickets cost $45, with a potential price increase to $105 at the door. This event not only showcases local producers but also emphasizes Mendocino County's culinary heritage. The collaboration among local businesses reflects a strong community spirit. Taste Mendocino aims to attract wine lovers and foodies alike to celebrate the region's offerings.
