VIA Metropolitan Transit is inviting San Antonio residents to participate in feedback sessions for its “Better Bus Plan,” which aims to improve bus service reliability and efficiency by early 2026. The plan proposes enhancements to 27 bus routes while retiring four routes, including Route 243 Flores/Pleasonton. Public hearings are scheduled for October 23 at Lackland Baptist Church and October 25 at the VIA Metro Center, both commencing at 5:30 p. m. Additional feedback sessions will occur throughout the month, allowing residents to express their views and concerns.

If approved by VIA's board, the proposed changes will be implemented in January. Residents can also submit their input online or through direct contact via email or phone.
