The meeting also honored Officers Ettinger, Ragosa, and Smith with the Renton Police Department Life Medal for their heroism in saving a victim's life during a shooting incident. Councilmember Michael Westgard highlighted the need for ongoing community support for the department.

The meeting concluded with an invitation to the upcoming State of the City Address by Mayor Armando Pavone.
