Renton Police have arrested Sean Jacob Coleman, known as "Flaco," and his girlfriend Diana Hayward, both 39, following their connection to a $1 million ATM theft ring. Coleman surrendered peacefully after months on the run, while Hayward's capture was marked by her unusual attempt to hide in a refrigerator. During a search of their apartment, officers found two firearms, including a modified Glock, and six cell phones believed to be involved in the ATM thefts. The Violent Crime Unit, established in 2023, has effectively targeted serious offenders, contributing to a significant drop in auto thefts in Renton. Sgt.

Eric Gordon emphasized the unit's commitment to community safety, stating that they pursue suspects regardless of their residence. The couple's arrest raises the possibility of additional charges as investigations into their alleged crimes continue.
