Redmond Municipal Airport Advises Passengers of Temporary Road Closure

Redmond Municipal Airport (RDM) is notifying passengers of a temporary closure of SW Airport Way from July 19-21, affecting access to the airport during late-night hours. The closure will occur each night from 10:00 p. m. to 1:00 a. m.

to help manage traffic congestion due to the FairWell Festival taking place at the Deschutes County Fair & Expo. Travelers are advised to use SW Veterans Way as an alternative route to reach the airport during these hours. Airport operations, including flight schedules and terminal services, will remain unaffected, ensuring travelers can continue their journeys as planned. Passengers are encouraged to arrive two hours before their flight to allow sufficient time for check-in and TSA security procedures. Those arriving late may risk missing their flights, as boarding gates close 15 minutes prior to departure.

The airport appreciates the public's understanding and cooperation during this temporary inconvenience.
