Diver from Rhode Island dies in Stonington, Connecticut

A diver from Westerly, Joel Trebisacci, 47, died after being found unresponsive at the Stonington Town Fishing Dock on August 2. Stonington Deputy Police Chief Todd Olson confirmed that emergency responders performed CPR before transporting him to Westerly Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The incident is under investigation by the Stonington Police Department, the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, and the U. S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
