Hayward hosts thousands of athletes for Nike Outdoor Nationals and USATF U20 Championships

Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, hosted the Nike Outdoor Nationals and USATF U20 Championships, welcoming athletes from across the nation. Day one showcased Oregon State's Delaney Ulrich, who finished second in the women's 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:47. 19. Despite not achieving a personal record, Ulrich was thrilled to stand on the podium, noting the competitive nature of the event. In the girls 5000-meter race, East Linn Christian's Daisey Lilande placed first in her heat but finished 11th overall with a time of 17:22.
