Farag's mezcal and wine bar reopens in Güero's back patio this Saturday, celebrating its second summer in Portland. Head chef Megan Sanchez, the owner of Güero, transforms the space into a pop-up each summer, showcasing her Egyptian heritage through the menu. Since its launch in 2024, Farag's has become a local favorite, offering an inviting outdoor setting complete with misters and string lights. The bar features live jazz or DJs on weekends, enhancing the vibrant atmosphere. Menu highlights include the long hot dog with pickled veggies and grape leaf-wrapped kibbeh, appealing to diverse palates.

The opening party takes place on June 14 at 4 PM, with regular hours set for Thursday through Sunday, 4-10 PM. This seasonal venture contributes significantly to Portland's food scene, offering unique flavors and experiences. Farag's success reflects the city's growing appreciation for diverse culinary offerings and outdoor dining.
