A hit-and-run crash occurred just after midnight on Tuesday, resulting in the closure of the westbound lanes of Highway 26 in Beaverton for several hours. Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue spokesman Steffan Myers stated that one person in the affected vehicle was entrapped and required extraction before being transported to Legacy Emanuel Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The crash reconstruction team was deployed to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, which kept the lanes closed until after 5 a. m. on Thursday.

Officials have yet to provide a description of the suspect vehicle involved in the hit-and-run.
