Sadie Carte, a local resident, captured the incident on her Ring camera and voiced her worries about safety, particularly for children attending Floyd Light Middle School nearby. Although police detained a suspect shortly after the shooting, they later confirmed that individual is not connected to the incident and was instead booked on unrelated charges. The victim, who sustained multiple gunshot wounds, is in the hospital, with injuries not deemed life-threatening. Sgt.
