Wanted man arrested after standoff in Clackamas County

On April 11, 2025, law enforcement responded to a trespass call in Clackamas County, Oregon, where they found a stolen Chevrolet Tahoe outside an empty house. The suspect, 38-year-old Taylor David Martello, was wanted in Washington state and suspected of violating a restraining order. Upon arrival, deputies attempted to convince him to leave the residence, but he refused, leading to the deployment of the Clackamas County SWAT and Crisis Negotiations Team. After hours of negotiation, Martello surrendered and was arrested around 4:45 p. m.
