The Street Services Coordination Center (SSCC) in Portland reported significant activity from November 10-16, 2025, focusing on assisting the homeless population and enhancing community safety. During this period, SSCC received 2,178 campsite reports and removed 136 sites deemed unsafe for health and safety. Of the 37 people offered shelter referrals, 16 accepted, and 8 utilized a shelter bed for at least one night. Since April 2022, the SSCC has provided over 8,500 referrals and housed nearly 2,700 individuals. The program collaborates with multiple city departments, including Fire & Rescue and transportation, to streamline services.

This initiative aims to minimize the impacts of homelessness while promoting long-term housing solutions. The data highlights the ongoing challenges of homelessness in Portland, emphasizing the need for continued support and resources.
