Filtration Neighbor Update - Oct. 31, 2025

Portland, ORLocal News

The Bull Run Filtration construction update for the week of November 3, 2025, outlines important traffic changes affecting the Altman Road and Lusted Road intersections. During the closure from November 3 to December 12, local access will be limited, with one-way traffic allowed outside work hours. Residents on Altman Road can access from the north, while Lusted Road residents will have access from the east. Through traffic will be detoured to Oxbow Drive or Dodge Park Boulevard. From November 3 to 19, Lusted Road will have a single-lane restriction with two-way flagging during work hours, and normal traffic will resume afterward.

The installation of new water pipelines will prolong these traffic restrictions on Lusted Road until May 2026. Starting November 20, 2025, temporary traffic signals will be implemented to help manage two-way traffic flow. This construction is part of a broader effort to enhance the water supply infrastructure in the region.
