Filtration Neighbor Update - Aug. 22, 2025

Portland, ORLocal News

Construction work for the Bull Run Filtration project is set to affect traffic patterns on Altman Road and Dodge Park Boulevard until the end of October. Altman Road will be completely closed from Monday to Saturday, necessitating signed detours for through traffic. Meanwhile, Dodge Park Boulevard will have flagged two-way traffic to facilitate the installation of a new water pipeline. Local residents will receive access during work hours, while school buses and emergency vehicles will be allowed through as necessary. Officials plan to repave Cottrell Road in mid-September to address an uneven surface, with alert signs placed for driver caution.

Outside of work hours, the road will be open to one-way northbound traffic. The ongoing construction emphasizes the city's commitment to infrastructure improvements. Residents and commuters should stay informed about the latest updates and follow detour signs.
