Bill Cosby reacts to death of TV son, 'Cosby Show' star Malcolm-Jamal Warner

Portland, OREntertainment

Bill Cosby expressed profound sadness over the sudden death of Malcolm-Jamal Warner, who played Theo Huxtable on “The Cosby Show. ” Andrew Wyatt, Cosby's representative, noted that Warner’s death reminded him of the tragic loss of Ennis Cosby, who was killed during a robbery in 1997. Wyatt emphasized Warner's significant impact on young men through his character, stating they were "amazing together" during their childhood. Warner, who died at 54 due to accidental drowning in Costa Rica, was found near Cocles beach after the incident occurred on a Sunday. His role as Theodore Huxtable from 1984 to 1992 secured his place in television history.

Warner received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in 1986 and won several awards throughout his career. Cosby and Warner had recently discussed an upcoming concert in Minneapolis where Warner was set to perform. Warner's legacy endures, as many continue to look up to the character he portrayed.
