Portland Permitting Development fees, effective July 1, 2025

The Portland City Council approved a 5% increase in service fees for Permitting & Development, effective July 1, 2025. Public discussions included meetings with the Finance Committee on April 7 and the Development Review Advisory Committee on April 17, emphasizing community engagement in the decision-making process. With 98% of the bureau's revenue coming from service fees, these adjustments are crucial for its operations. The council held a public hearing on May 21 to finalize the fee increases.
